Got a call from someone saying they were from MHA about my life insurance, but when I asked who the provider was, they couldn’t give me a clear answer (definitely not the company I’ve got a policy with). I told them to take my number off their calling list, and the lady didn’t seem pleased at all. I then mentioned my rights under GDPR, and she just cut me off straight away. Feels like a total scam to me.

Got a call yammering on about life insurance, sounded like total spam to me.

Somebody rang me saying they were from a company named meh life, which honestly sounds like a joke rather than a real company. They claimed to have financial advisors representing all the big life insurance firms and said they’d received my info from my provider, though they wouldn’t say which provider it was. I’d had a call like this before, but last time I called them out on it, they just cut me off. This time the woman was way more courteous and actually let me get my point across. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Got called by a number I didn’t recognise, no voicemail left or anything. Had a look on this site and it seems like just another telemarketing call. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I received a call from someone saying they were verifying my life insurance policy, making sure it would cover everything if I ever needed to make a claim. When I questioned who gave them permission to contact me or review my policy, they admitted they couldn't actually access any of my policy info. So I asked them, if they can’t see my policy details, how are they even able to check it? Seems like a typical cold call scam to me. Best to stay clear.
