Strange phone number just popped up on my screen.

I've received a trio of annoying calls over the last week. Quite a few came from the same area code and exchange; I'm led to believe they're all from a singular source, numbered 2135.

I've received two calls from this number today. The initial one was quite abrupt, as it disconnected after about five rings! On the second occasion, I decided to just let it ring out. If they can’t be bothered to clarify the reason for their call, then I have no interest in conversing with them!

Received a call from someone purporting to be Sam from Doors And Windows Ltd - intriguing name, isn't it? I have my doubts about the authenticity of the voice; it felt rather robotic if I’m honest. He insisted he knew I was the property owner, but when I probed him on how he came by that information, there was a rather awkward silence… just crickets after that!

On the 24th of May 2024, I received a call from a gentleman representing Windows & Doors Ltd who inquired if I was the homeowner. It was the second time they had tried to reach me, which prompted me to end the conversation. I've since added this number to my block list.

I received a call from this number at precisely 11:57 this morning, Friday the 24th of May. Since I didn't recognise it, I opted to let it roll over to voicemail. To my surprise, they didn't leave a message – just a rather odd silent call! Later on, I took the liberty of looking up the number on this website, and I must say, the findings aren't very reassuring.

I've since gone ahead and blocked the number through BT's 1572 call blocking feature. However, I've noticed that these types of companies often have a whole slew of numbers, so I doubt this will keep them at bay for too long!

I received a call from someone who clearly didn't have a clue, as they mispronounced my name in a rather unusual manner. When I inquired about the purpose of their call, they launched into a series of rather absurd questions that screamed scam. I promptly cut them off, made it clear I have no time for such nonsense, and ended the call. Honestly, some people!
