I picked up this call, even though I’m on the TPS list. After roughly 20 seconds, a lady began pitching a “FREE QUOTE” for SOLAR ENERGY. I assumed she was trying to push solar panels on me. If I really wanted a free quote, I’d get one without having to speak to some sketchy company over the phone! I ended up reporting this to the so-called watchdog, the ICO.

They didn’t even bother to push past my new call blocking setup. Looks like these numbers are scammy from what others have said here. I’ve got a BT Decor 2600 with TrueCall, and honestly, that £24 from Curry's was totally worth it. No more annoying calls, just peace and happiness at home - my missus is thrilled too!

Got a second ring from this number today, on Bank Holiday Monday. I didn’t answer so as soon as my answerphone came on, they hung up. I live here on the Isle of Wight and plan to tell our Parish Council about these calls so they can warn other locals. If cold calls from UK firms aren’t stopped, they really ought to be. It’s a landline with a Cardiff area code, so surely they should be responsible for this nuisance.

Got a call from someone saying they were with a solar company and that I could get a loan. When I asked who they were trying to reach, they just said the property qualified. Then when I asked which one, they didn’t really answer and just kept talking. Ended the call pretty quickly since it felt dodgy - they never said who exactly they wanted or gave a proper address. Definitely seems like a scam.
