I've encountered them calling from various numbers multiple times over the past 48 hours, each time purporting to be from different firms. They are not affiliated with any of those companies they claim to represent. Their sole aim is to con you out of your hard-earned cash, and they’ll attempt to coax your banking details from you. Once they have that information, they’ll drain your account. Steer clear and don’t divulge a thing!

I received a call purporting to be from EE promotions, and initially, I was quite taken in since I had indeed requested a call regarding an upgrade. However, they didn't bother to verify my identity or anything sensible. They jumped straight into a pitch for the iPhone 15 Pro, which, to my knowledge, is still a figment of imagination! What's more alarming is that the number they called from isn't listed on the official EE website as one of their legitimate contact numbers. So, do exercise caution if you get a similar call!
