I had a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to be from EE. They were trying to entice me with a new iPhone 14 at some sort of promotional rate. However, the call was plagued by an overwhelming din in the background. The woman on the line, who spoke with a noticeable accent, didn’t come across as very credible. I promptly declined to share any of my banking information.

Got a call from some bloke named 'Steve' saying he was from 3 mobile trying to sell me a new deal. I told him I didn’t have 3 as my provider, so he asked who I used instead. When I told him to mind his own business, he just said I was wasting his time and then hung up on me.
