Got a call from what sounded like EE, offering some "free upgrade." Honestly, nothing about that felt right. The whole thing ended up originating from India, which made me suspicious. Also, there was that noticeable lag before they answered, like a couple seconds delay. And really, if EE can’t even stick to the original price in your contract, you gotta wonder about their service. Definitely a phishing scam, watch out for it!

I got a call outta the blue where someone was trying to trick me into signing up for a phone deal that’d cost me £30 a month. Definitely felt like a scam.
