I got a call from someone who claimed to be with EE Network. When they spoke, I replied in French. Then they asked what language I was using, so I replied in German but with a heavy Scottish accent. After that, the caller just said sorry and ended the call. Made me laugh!

It sounded like they were calling from a noisy call centre or something. They said they were EE but as soon as I asked why they were bothering someone who doesn’t even have EE, they just hung up on me. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Curry’s, said they were doing some sort of promo. Asked me if I had an iPhone or a Samsung. There was loads of noise in the background, sounded like a hectic call centre. I ended up just hanging up.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent saying they were from Vodafone. I told them the connection was terrible and said I’d be glad to talk through any Vodafone issues. Instead of replying, they just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman speaking in a strong Chinese accent, saying she was calling on behalf of O2 and offering me a 30% discount, even though I’m already with O2 through Virgin Media. Later, I noticed she rang me again but this time from a different 028 number. Pretty sus if you ask me.

They wanted to know my name but when I couldn’t give them an answer, you could tell it was totally a scam.

Got a call from some guy named Dominic pretending to be from O2, sounded Indian or something. I told him straight up he was talking rubbish, and he didn't take it well. Ended up swearing at me and just cut the call.
