I told her to hang on while I dug up the info. Took ages - about 10 minutes - before I came back on the line. I said, “Sorry, took me a bit.” She was all, “Okay, ready now?” I said yes. Then I spelled out loud, “F-U-C-K-O-F-F-A-N-D-D-I-E.” I asked if she wanted me to say it again or if she got it. Silence at first, but the call didn’t end. I said, “Hello? Hello? Need me to repeat?” Then she just dropped the call. Just remember, you’re the one worth protecting here. These lot keep coming back, dialing hundreds of times over years. Every little scrap they get is another bit of the puzzle they’re trying to finish. They see you as their long-term target, like their retirement plan or something. Don’t fall for it - hang up straightaway or, like me, have a bit of fun and give ’em what for.
