I got a call from a woman with an English accent about windows and doors. She wanted to know if I was the person who lived here. I didn’t really answer her properly, just said I didn’t want to chat and hung up. Nice to see I wasn’t just being paranoid after reading the comments here.

I've been inundated with persistent calls from this number that I really don’t welcome.

I received a call from someone pretending to be from Vodafone-what a load of nonsense! I've gone ahead and blocked that number. Total waste of time!

Since I didn’t recognise the number, I just let it ring off. Usually if it’s important, they’ll send a text afterwards.

I got a call saying they were from O2 but honestly, it just sounded like some call centre in India. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Received a call from "EE" regarding some deal on the iPhone 15. The woman had quite a pronounced Indian accent. I ended up telling her to find a proper job instead.

There was a lengthy silence on the line, followed by the voice of what seemed to be a young girl. I had to inform her that she had dialled the incorrect number. A right nuisance, I must say.

No doubt about it, they're definitely up to something. Seems like yet another Asian con artist at work. Claiming to be from Three Mobile, or so they say.

I just picked up the phone and answered, thinking it might be something important while I'm waiting for my driving licence to come back from the DVLA. To my surprise, the number flashed up as being from Cardiff. Total scam, if you ask me! Best avoid this one at all costs!

Received two calls from this number, quite a bit of chatter in the background. They claimed to be calling from some organisation named "Three."

Received a call claiming to be from Three, chatting about some new iPhone offer. I didn’t bother replying, and they ended the call rather abruptly. Just another load of spam, if you ask me!

I received a call from Tree Mobile, claiming they had some sort of discount to offer. Sadly, the line was so crackly that I could barely make out what they were saying.

She mentioned the last four digits of the number they had dialled and started chatting about some EE promotion, inquiring about the amount of my most recent bill. I informed her that I wasn't a customer of EE, and then that was it; she hung up.

I received a call purportedly from Three Mobile, claiming I was eligible for a reduction on my monthly bill. The initial inquiry was about my last bill amount. I pointed out that if they were truly from Three, they'd have that info on hand. They identified themselves as being from the marketing team. Curiosity got the better of me, so I probed about the further questions they might have. To my surprise, they hung up promptly. It's quite evident that they were attempting to gather enough details to potentially call Three and gain access to my account. One of the common security questions that mobile companies pose is often about your last bill. I had a strong inclination it was a scam from the start - the heavy Indian accent was a giveaway - yet I was somewhat curious about their intended inquiries.

I'm absolutely fed up with the incessant barrage of spam calls and text messages. It's getting ridiculous! I've been contacted by individuals with Chinese accents offering all sorts of lavish items, as well as countless unknown numbers. It’s becoming quite the nuisance, I must say!

It’s a scam! I was approached with a proposal for two new contracts, but it certainly wasn’t two ladies with Indian accents.

I received a rather dubious phone call earlier today. When I picked up, there was a woman on the other end with a pronounced Indian accent. She greeted me with, “Hello, I’m calling from (something I couldn’t catch). Am I speaking to Mr XXXX?” I politely asked her to clarify who she was representing, but she simply brushed my question aside. Instead, she continued, “You’ve been chosen for a significant rebate, but I need to verify some details, so please provide your national insurance number.” I told her to hold on for a moment while I looked for the info she’d asked for. After about ten minutes, I got back on the line. “Apologies for the wait, I was struggling to locate it. Are you prepared?” “Yes, I’m prepared,” she replied. With a grin, I said, “Alright then, here you go: F U C K O F F A N D D I E. Should I say that again, or do you understand?” There was only silence, though the call was still connected. “Hello? Do you need me to repeat myself?” Then, without warning, the call was hung up on her end. Just remember, you are the one they are after. It could take them countless calls over a span of years, but with every tidbit of seemingly harmless information they collect, they inch closer to their goal. It’s a bit like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle; every innocent detail they gather nudges them closer to completion. They’re relentless and view every target as part of a long-term strategy - after all, you’re essentially their future retirement plan. So, never disclose any personal information, hang up straightaway, or, like me, give them a piece of your mind!

They pretended to be from my mobile network provider and started off with, "Hope you're having a lovely day!" I snapped back, "I would be, but a dodgy scammer just called me!" They've swiftly made their way onto my extensive list of blocked numbers.
