Upon checking that number, I found out that it raised some red flags; apparently, it had been reported by around 300 people all over the UK just seven hours prior. It seems we're dealing with the same group of callers trying to con unsuspecting individuals. Exercise caution, as just because a call appears to be from a UK landline, it doesn't necessarily mean it's genuinely from this country. The number may look British, but it could very well originate from elsewhere. These con artists, spammers, and cold callers are only after your hard-earned money and personal information. Always be vigilant. Stay safe out there. They’ll go to great lengths to harass you and invade your privacy.

I found it rather confusing to decipher the message from the caller, yet given he asserted he was from Curry's PC World, I can't help but think he was attempting to pitch me a mobile contract in the hopes of securing my banking details.

Had a rubbish call from someone pretending to be from Currys or PC World? not really sure which, they kept babbling about some offer but was so hard to catch what they were saying. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
