Then they asked for my bank details, saying it was just a refundable security deposit. I played along for a bit, pretending I was interested, then told them it was a scam and ended the call.

My missus got a call on her phone from a woman who sounded like she was from India or somewhere nearby. She claimed she was calling from the UK, but it didn’t sound right. The lady was trying to pitch me a remote work-from-home gig. At first, she said it was through Blue Arrow recruitment, then suddenly switched to something about Digital Marketing. She mentioned I’d get training which would cost about £30-45. When I asked where Blue Arrow was based, she said the UK, but then oddly added San Diego! After I kept grilling her for about 10 minutes, she just hung up on me.
