Some bloke rang me claiming he was with Green Energy. He insisted he wasn’t trying to sell anything but wanted to give me a free loft insulation check or whatever. I said I wasn’t interested and already had an appointment, but he switched to this “I get it but” tone. He clearly wasn’t gonna back off, so I just replied, ‘No thanks, not interested. Cheers, bye’ and ended the call.

I have a strong feeling that this is definitely a con. They mentioned that my home was eligible for something called an "echo redecoration," supposedly related to issues like damp and mould.
