Got a call from 029 2246 1261‬ in Cardiff earlier. The woman who answered spoke really quickly and mumbled when saying where she was from, couldn’t catch a word. Then she jumped right into asking for my personal info, something about stopping more hassle calls. Sounded dodgy straight away. Asked her who she was with but she didn’t reply. Tried again and still silence, so I just hung up. Seems like a fishy call to me.

Got a call from some firm asking about "pension and future plans". They kept insisting I confirm an old postcode from like 15 years ago. I asked what they were using my details for, since under GDPR I'm entitled to know. After a lengthy silence, the woman suddenly said "oh damn" and just cut off. Definitely a scam - best to block and steer clear.

Total scam. They were fishing for my personal details. Even when I asked who they were working for and their name, they kept dodging the questions. I stayed polite but didn't give anything away and ended the call quickly.

They asked me how I knew this person... when I told them I had no idea who it was, they kept pushing to answer some quick household questions. I had to ask who they were before I ended the call. Totally a scam, best to just ignore it.

The caller kind of stumbled a bit and didn’t properly say their company name, seems dodgy to me. When I asked why they needed my details, they just ignored me and kept pushing for info. Didn’t give them a single thing. It’s useful to warn people here, but is there an official place to report them so they can be fined? The cases in the news start with someone speaking up, and these people have obviously bothered over 11,000 folks already.

Received a call from someone wanting to verify my address, but I wasn't having any of it. I politely requested his information, yet he responded rather impolitely, threatening to call me every single day and annoy me on purpose. Beneficial Opinions - they keep ringing even though I told them to stop and I’ve tried opting out on their site. Every time I block one number, they come back calling from a new one. Lately, they seem to favour a Cardiff number, but others pop up too.
