Some bloke called himself John and said he was from Virgin Media. He went on about how their system flagged my router for a cyber attack and offered to fix it. Thing is, I’m not with Virgin Media at all. He reckoned that Virgin serves everyone across the UK, even people who use BT or EE, which sounded dodgy to me. The guy had a strong Indian accent and I didn’t buy any of it. Didn’t waste any more time, just hung up. If Virgin’s hiring folks like this, Richard Branson might want to get a grip on it!
