It’s frustrating that phone companies worldwide openly say they can’t stop cold calls, but honestly, since they earn cash every time one rings through, why bother? I reckon it’ll take government laws and hefty fines, taken right out of their shareholders’ pockets, before they care. Our phone system even lets these callers leave a voicemail, but they never bother. If they call back, they’ll be blocked immediately. Right now, we’ve got more numbers blocked than the ones of our actual mates and family allowed through.
