Seems like Easylife is passing on numbers or something, cos I've gotten 9 calls in just a couple days. I’ve had to block the number on my phone. I don’t know anyone from Wales, so there’s no way I’m picking up for these muppets. From what I’ve seen, I’d say they’re dodgy, probably preying on older folks hoping to pull a fast one.

I got a call from a bloke asking for my husband. When I asked what it was about, he claimed he was from the Irish lottery and kept saying he needed to contact the lottery office. He tried to make it seem like we’d won a prize, but I told him we don’t enter any lotteries. I reckon someone not as careful might easily fall for this sort of thing.

I tend to ignore the numerous calls I receive. It’s simply a matter of staying vigilant about picking up any suspicious numbers until I find the time to sift through and hopefully tidy up my rather crowded Block Caller list! If the callers are legit, they should leave a message, wouldn't you agree?

This morning, I received a rather odd phone call. The chap on the other end claimed to be representing some "Lottery Centre", a name that rang no bells for me whatsoever! When I politely declined their supposed offer, he began probing into my reasons for not wanting to participate. At that point, I figured it best to just hang up on him. What a cheek!

Some woman called saying she was with the lottery and had my info from somewhere official, tried pushing me to buy a ticket for £8 just to get one of those 100 free jackpot entries. She was really pushy, if I was more vulnerable I might have been tricked into paying. Definitely should be reported to Ofcom.

Got two calls from this number in as many days, same bloke claiming to be from the lottery. First time he asked if I knew about the Irish lottery, I said no thanks and hung up. Then they called again today with the exact same talk, I told him again I wasnt interested and mentioned I told him yesterday as well. Tried ringing the number back but it just goes straight to dead line. If it was genuine, surely they’d have a working number you could get through to?

Got a call from this number, some woman saying she was from the Irish lottery. She was really pushy, like, seriously persistent. I told her I already get letters from them through the post and that I don’t want to do it over the phone since I only pay by cheque. Then she said paying by cheque was risky and said giving her my card details was safer, cause they’d only charge £8 once. I just told her thanks but no thanks and ended the call.

some bloke with a welsh accent said he was from the lottery - i asked why he was ringing me? he asked if i played the lottery - i told him i’m against gambling altogether but cheers for ringing and then ended the call - i’d bet a fiver it’s a scam (haha)! needless to say i’ve blocked that number now - they’d called a few times in the past days but i kept missing the calls till today.

this number has called my house a few times and spoke to my missus. whenever she asked what it was regarding, the lady said she was ringing from the national lottery and wanted to have a word with me, but wouldn’t say anything more to my wife or even leave a message. (i was out every time) i’m pretty sure i haven’t won any lottery money so it’s likely a scam.

Got a call trying to push discount vouchers for £69 a year, seemed dodgy and definitely not worth it. They messed up by saying they’d mess with the card details they’d saved, so I cancelled my card right away. I’ve bought stuff from them before but never again. They told me they don’t keep card info stored on their system, but it didn’t seem right. The company’s called Easylife.
