I managed to catch a mobile number finishing in 44417, gave it a ring and sent a text, and honestly, it really seems to annoy whoever's picking up the phone. This number has been ringing me quite a lot recently. After seeing all your stories, I thought it best not to pick up. On Friday, I caught a show similar to Watchdog, and they mentioned that if you text the details to 7726, it goes to a group working to fight these annoying calls. I’ve already sent them info about this company. If everyone does that, maybe they’ll be taken off the list. Fingers crossed! The caller was from some accident claims line.

This number hass called me 34 times just this past week. I was away overseas during the first 33 calls and ignored them all. I finally picked up on the 34th ring and some bloke named 'Rahim' said he was from All Claims Management. He claimed they had details about me being involved in an accident in the last couple of years...which is totally untrue! When I looked up the company online, it says on their site that people have been using their name fraudulently. Apparently, they're a tiny outfit and don’t do cold calls themselves.

So, these people rang me up claiming I’d been in a crash last year. I was totally confused and asked if I was drunk at the time cause I have zero memory of any accident! Then I let them know I actually work in insurance and handle dodgy calls like theirs all the time. Since I know I wasn’t involved in any accident and they had no right to use my mobile, I warned them they’d be in deep trouble. After that, I just cut them off quick. I don't get why they can't get the memo about me being registered with the TPS. So, I replied with a text message (which surprisingly you can do to a landline from your mobile). My number is on the TPS list, so how on earth are these muppets still getting through? Where the hell are they finding my details? These calls are driving me mad - the only way I've found to shut them up is by swearing at them and using some pretty harsh language until they hang up. Polite requests to stop just don’t work, trust me. If you want to try, swear at them but make sure they’re the ones to end the call. Maybe that’ll give you peace for a bit.

02922229917 14/9/2015 Just got a call on my mobile from some idiot claiming to be from a claims firm. They started with the usual “How are you today?” and when I told them I was proper fed up with constant cold calls, the bloke just hung up before I could really let him have it with some colourful language. My number’s on the TPS list, so why are these muppets still bothering me??? How on earth have they got hold of my digits??? These cold callers are such a nuisance. The only thing that seems to get them off the phone is to be really rude and throw a load of abuse their way until they hang up. I’ve tried being polite and asking nicely for them to stop, but that doesn’t work one bit. So yeah, give them some abuse - they hate it and usually hang up pretty sharpish. Maybe that’s your best bet.

I got calls from some supposed ‘accident claim team’ that’s completely bogus. Trying to tell them to stop calling is a waste of time cause they just keep ringing. Best thing I found is either don’t pick up or have a bit of fun and mess about on the phone, say nonsense - they actually fall for it! - caller: Accident Claim Team

It's so frustrating, they ring me like three times every day. They leave voicemails but say nothing, so I end up paying 35p just to hear silence. I've gone ahead and blocked their number now.

An ambulance chaser is basically a law firm or solicitor group that chases after people who mightve been in accidents to try and get them to claim compo! Such a nuisance!!!

Had these idiots ringing me nonstop, like 7 times in one hour. Picked up and just said hello, they hung up straight away. Tried calling them back and nobody picked up. Total rubbish.

Got a call from some weird folks in India, claiming there’d been an accident involving me or something? I just told ’em my scruffy toy bear’s alright, his wonky eye’s been stuck on again but his bum’s a bit sore, so I’m off to hospital with him. “Alrighty then!” was all they said. Haven’t hear a peep since.
