My dad got a call today from this number, with someone telling him he’d been in a car crash and was owed some kind of ‘discomfort compensation’. Then he seemed mixed up and passed me over so they could chat with me instead. When I asked who they were and told them I wanted to check their details (felt dodgy, to be honest), they just cut off the call. My dad’s 77, and honestly, these scammers need shutting down. Is there any way to report them to the police or do something about it?
