02921680722 - Got a call from these scammers saying I owe £79.99 for a Prime subscription. I told them I don’t have Prime. They then claimed I had signed up just yesterday at 9 in the morning. I said, hang on, your call said this was a renewal, not a new sign-up, so what’s happening here? They just hung up on me after that.

Got a robo call saying they were going to charge me £79.99 to renew my Amazon account. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel or chat about it. I pressed 1, and then they sent me to a dodgy website [#]amazonprime79.weebly[###], claiming that’s how you cancel your subscription safely. Then they tried to get me to download TeamViewer. When I mentioned that TeamViewer lets them access my computer and called it suspicious, the guy just said “who told you that?” and hung up on me. Clearly a scam!

These scammers are so annoying! I mentioned how awful the rain was today, and he replied saying it’s really wet out. Then I told him it wasn’t even raining anymore, and he goes, “Oh yeah, it’s cleared up.” I ended up telling him off with some pretty rude words and told him to get lost before I slammed down the phone on him. Watch out for these muppets, definitely no way I'm signing up for Amazon Prime through them!

I usually just ignore calls from unknown numbers, especially when they don’t leave a voicemail. I looked this one up here and decided to block it. Also, I don’t have Amazon Prime, so if that was the reason for the call, it’s definitely a waste of time.

A mate at work got a call from some scammer claiming someone was attempting to open an Amazon Prime account using his name and bank info. The bloke tried to persuade him to install TeamViewer on his phone but luckily we heard the chat and realised it was dodgy, so we put a stop to it. Watch out for this one.

Got a call saying it was from Amazon Prime, sounded dodgy. I asked them where their office was, they said London. Then I asked what the weather was like there, and they said it was fine. Told them it was actually pouring down here, and they just said they didn’t have a window! Told them that was a lie and the call ended abruptly. Absolute scammers, complete muppets.
