I picked up the missus's mobile and the caller said they were from O2, trying to chat about a phone upgrade. They didn’t seem to realise I wasn’t the one on the account though. When I asked a few questions, they got really rude and started shouting. Luckily, I had the call recorded and have sent it over to the proper folks to sort it out!

Some company named Upgrade My Mobile keeps ringing me, no idea how they got my number. I did sign a contract with them ages ago, which ends in a few months, but there's no way I'm renewing it. From the start, trying to sort out my so-called upgrade was a nightmare. Felt like they were just messing about in someone’s living room, doing deals while watching daytime telly or something!

i got 2 calls within a couple of days from some people who were trying to either get me to switch my phone plan or maybe just fishing for my details, hard to tell. they kept telling me rubbish like my current plan ain't available anymore, which i know for a fact isn't right. clearly, they haven't a clue about my actual contract. sounds like spam or maybe a scam to me, or at the very least just annoying hassle.

I received a couple of calls over the last two days, and it seems they're attempting to persuade you to switch your mobile plan or even provider. Regardless, they're clearly unaware of your existing contract details and try to misguide you into believing your agreement has lapsed or that your plan is obsolete and must be altered-both of which are completely false for me. It's evident they lack any sort of professional integrity, resorting to such deceptive tactics. Personally, I'd recommend blocking and flagging this number to prevent any further hassle.
