Got a call from someone claiming to be from AVIVA about life insurance, but it was a total con. Turns out, it was just some dodgy call centre trying to trick me. Complete waste of time!

I got a call recently that seemed like a genuine person at first, but after they kept talking over me, it was clear it was actually a bot. Then another call came through, and when I picked up, they asked if my name was Mac, which it’s not. I asked who they were but before they could reply, they just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Oakhill Financial Services, saying they wanted to go over my life insurance. They told me they could lower my current policy, but then tried pushing a pricier one instead. The bloke clearly had no clue about what my policy covered or the company it’s with. Honestly, just a load of time wasted.

I've just reported this to the ICO, and honestly, I'd advise others to do it too. Here's the link if you want to report them as well: https://ico.org.uk/

I picked up and there was complete silence on the other end. Later, I tried calling the number from my landline, but it said the line wouldn't take calls. Definitely a scam, best block it straight away.

Got a call from some automated voice trying to talk about life insurance stuff, but it was super vague and sounded fishy from the start. I only realised it was a robot when it suddenly said "someone from our team will be in touch soon". The way it dodged giving any real details was totally suspicious. Would steer well clear of that one.

A random call came through claiming they could lower my life insurance, which is crazy ’cause I don’t even have one! Then they started asking about my kids and mortgage stuff. I’m just a student, so it made no sense at all. Pretty sure it was some kind of scam.

Got a call from HMRC but it was one of those robotic ones saying they were James Anderson. Pretty sure it was a total scam.

Just had a call from some bloke called James Anderson, said he was HMRC and mentioned a warrant plus court stuff. Definitely a scam, don't bother calling back!

Got a call out of nowhere about life insurance, but they didn’t seem to have any info about my existing plan. Don’t pay attention to the positive reviews in green - they’re probably fake and posted by the company themselves to trick people.

Got a call about some fake life insurance offer. Best advice: just ignore it and dont bother calling them back.

I told them to tell me which life insurance policy they were talking about, and as soon as I did, they just hung up. Pretty obvious they wanted to get info from me. Blocked them straight away.

I've gotten calls from this number several times, but every time it just hangs up right away with no one saying anything. Dunno if it's a scam or some telemarketer, but either way it seems pretty useless.

This caller claimed to be checking on our life insurance for our company, but they didn't even know our names or anything about our policy. Maybe they were legit, but if they begin with a fib, how am I supposed to trust them?

I got a call from someone saying they wanted to talk about my life insurance and mentioned a few companies they supposedly represented. When I asked for some info on my existing policy, they just hung up on me. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

Got two calls, first one was from a mobile and sounded like a robot asking me my name and then said someone would call me back. Not long after, a Welsh lady from some life insurance advice place phoned me. When I mentioned the first call sounded like a computer, she just hung up straight away. Definitely seems like a scam or something dodgy. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from Amy who then put me through to an insurance agent; they managed to find me a much better offer than what I had before. Would definitely suggest giving them a try!

Got a call from a really sound bloke who took a look at my life insurance plan. Turns out mine was already spot on, but he was proper genuine about the chat.

Got a call that seemed like one of those dodgy life insurance scams, they kept asking for my info but couldn’t even say what company they were from or which insurer I supposedly had. When I started getting wary, the bloke just cut the call, even though I was being nice about it. Pretty sure it was a scam.

As expected, the morons behind these calls are now leaving comments all over, highlighted in green. Funny thing is, not one of them ever says what this so-called company is actually called or where it’s supposedly based. Definitely a rubbish scam if you ask me.
