I received a call from the number mentioned above about hearing aids, and, quite frankly, I was intrigued, so I shared my address with them. However, things took a turn when they informed me they'd be visiting my home instead of me going to their clinic. Since then, I've been sent a letter from them, but it lacks any contact details or an address to cancel this so-called appointment. I'm feeling a bit stuck here. This is from a firm that replies to questions when you ring the number you gave them. If you shared your info, then it’s normal to get a call back. So it’s not a scam, and picking up might actually help you sort things out or find out why they’re calling before jumping to conclusions. I’m pleased I checked here because I’ve been ignoring their calls by mistake, and I actually use their service, which btw, is free.

It’s a firm called Hearing and Mobility. I know this because my mum bought some hearing aids from there. They’re legit but I wouldn’t say their stuff is great. She shelled out almost £4,500 for them and thought she was getting the really discreet ones, but they turned out to be big and tricky to fit in her ear.

Today, I received a call from a firm named Hear Focus, which is associated with Hearing & Mobility. They appeared quite credible and claimed to offer discreet, in-ear hearing aids. The conversation felt sincere enough, and I wasn't inclined to suspect any foul play. The woman on the line was quite understanding, and I nearly organised for someone to visit my home for a consultation. However, due to previous experiences with various hearing aid calls, I requested that she get in touch with me again after the New Year. It does seem unlikely that this is a scam, to be honest.

This number keeps ringing me nearly 4 times every day at random times. My answering machine usually picks up but they never seem to stop. I finally answered today and they were asking for someone who had this number over 20 years ago! Sounds like they're using really outdated contact info.
