Claimed to be from O2 (which I definitely don’t use) and mentioned something about upgrading my four-digit PIN to a five-digit one? I can only assume he would have tried to fish for my actual PIN, but thankfully, I ended that call before it went any further!

Claimed to be from my mobile service provider and became quite hostile when I inquired about my actual provider. Clearly a con artist!

I reckon I’ve stumbled upon a right O2 con! The lass on the other end didn’t have a hint of a Welsh accent, despite claiming to be from Wales. The giveaway was when she addressed me as 'ma’am'—definitely not how they'd chat around here!

I received a call from a number masquerading as O2's loyalty team, claiming they were shutting down the 4G network and insisting that I needed to swap my SIM for a 5G version. I informed them that I wasn’t the account holder and suggested they reach out to the actual owner for verification. They couldn’t provide any details to back up their story and abruptly ended the call. Typical!

I suspect this was a nuisance call, as I didn't recognise the number and opted not to answer. They rang for almost a minute before deciding to hang up.

I gave my dad a ring earlier today, and there was a caller claiming to be from EE. They started asking for his address, postcode, and his name before saying they’d transfer him to their supervisor. My dad sensed something fishy and promptly hung up.

Received a call from this number, but since it wasn't familiar to me, I chose not to pick up. They didn't leave any voicemail, which I found a bit off. Had a look up on this website, and I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Gave me a ring earlier, but I didn’t pick up – they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. Had a look on this site, and after seeing what others have reported, I’ve decided to block the number.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2, stating that there was a decrease in the cost of my contract. When I inquired about how much longer I had left on my agreement, they mentioned they'd look into it but then abruptly hung up on me.

Received a phantom call, but there was absolutely nothing left on the voicemail.

Con artists at work! Beware!

I suspect it's a dodgy call. Claimed to be from EE, and tried to promote some sort of "upgrade."
