Got a call from Chris at London Eco Exchange about some loft insulation problems we’d been having. Turns out they hadn’t put any insulation in the loft for over a decade! Pretty shocking when you think about how long it’s been. Chris was trying to sort it all out for us.

Got a ring from someone named Matthew, who kept going on about some government-backed insulation or lagging job I supposedly had done. I told him straight up that I've had nothing installed and ended the call. Then, a couple of hours later, he rang me again but from another number (0121 400 1178, which I've also reported) and kept pushing that I had this job done. I just hung up again and ended up blocking both those numbers.

Got a call from a guy named Chris, claiming he was in London and working for some green energy firm. He said my loft insulation might be leading to damp and wanted to carry out an inspection. He began asking loads of questions, but I just told him thanks, no thanks, and ended the call. Definitely feels like a scam.

Had another call this morning - some bloke named Chris ringing up saying he’s my energy advisor. It’s the third time now and it’s driving me nuts. Why doesn’t Ofcom do something about these idiots? I guess the phone firms don’t mind since they probably cash in from these sales calls. So basically, the telcos are making money off dodgy practices? Ridiculous!

Received a call on the landline at 11:35 from a chap claiming to be "Matthew" representing "Energy Advisory" based in Oxford. He mentioned something about lagging we allegedly had fitted that might be causing issues and was keen on scheduling a complimentary survey. As he proceeded, he started firing off personal questions without any clear context. I asked him several times about the specific property in question, the type of lagging, and what the supposed problem was, but he couldn't provide any clarity. After a bit of back-and-forth, he eventually just hung up on me. Quite suspect, if you ask me!
