Total scam, they call with some spiel like: WE'D LIKE TO TALK ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. OUR PLAN IS JUST £23 EVERY 3 MONTHS TO OFFER SOMEONE TO CHAT TO AND SUPPORT YOU IF YOU'RE FEELING DOWN OR LIKE YOU'RE STRUGGLING. THEN THEY THROW IN AN EXTRA £15 QUARTERLY TO 'MOVE YOU UP' THE TREATMENT WAITLIST, SO YOU CAN RING ANYTIME, EVEN AT 4AM. PLEASE, AS IF THATS WORTH IT. Absolutely not.

For the past three days, I have been receiving scam calls. I also received one last week. It is important not to return these calls and instead delete them.

My phone buzzed and stopped ringing just as I was about to pick up. Shortly after, I got a voicemail from a woman speaking in Chinese. After that, she switched to English to tell me my phone number was about to be discontinued. She then asked me to press 1 for Chinese or 2 for English. I ended the call, deleted the message straight away, and blocked the number. To me, this sounds risky because pressing a button could give them a way to access your phone or info.

On 4th July 2023, I picked up a call from a woman who addressed me by name. She claimed that because I had bought a talking watch from Easylife, I was eligible for a £15 voucher and an offer to subscribe to a Wellbeing magazine costing £23.25. She said I'd get the details within 3-5 days and that I'd have 28 days to cancel. I kept telling her I wasn’t interested, but she just repeated her spiel over and over. I finally hung up and blocked the number. I’ve also sent a complaint to Easylife as I’m worried my info is being used in a dodgy way and I'm hesitant to keep dealing with them.

I've just received a call from this number, and I must say, the lady on the line was rather insistent. She started waffling on about some health club and mentioned a cooling-off period. I interrupted her, saying that she was pushing something quite hard, to which she replied with a rather vague acknowledgment. I believe this is a fraudulent call that seems unrelated to Easylife at all. They contacted my husband, claiming to represent "The Wellbeing Club," and mentioned a purchase he supposedly made. Got a call from someone claiming to be Easy-life, but as soon as I answered, they just cut off. Total scam, I'd say.

Was waiting for a call, but ended up answering this one by mistake. Some bloke named George said he’d send me a freebie, then charge me £23.95 after a month! I couldn’t really hear what he was pitching properly ‘cos I was outside and there was loads of traffic noise. Ended the call straight away. Total scam. Blocked for sure.

I received a call on my mobile today. I chose not to answer it since the number was unknown to me. I later discovered that the number is linked to a scam and poses a danger. Therefore, I promptly blocked the number.

Someone said they were from Wellbeing Club and wanted to send me a £15 cashback voucher, but it came with a “free trial” signup. I told them I wasn’t interested and blocked the number, just like I did with other calls from these Easylife “partners”.

I never picked up, I always have my phone on in case someone important calls - of course, they never left a voicemail. Like a few others mentioned, I bought stuff ages ago from the Easylife catalogue for my late mum. Kept sending the catalogues back, but now I’m just gonna recycle them. Even if I needed anything from there, I wouldn’t bother anymore because of all the annoying calls, not just to me but loads of others too.

Got a missed call, checked voicemail but no message, just some static in the background. From what others have said, it sounds like easylife, a mail order company. I bought a few things from them nearly a year and a half ago and since then they’ve been phoning me nonstop to push fake club memberships. This is the fifth number I’ve had to block from them.

They claimed to be calling from the rewards club. I told them I wasn’t a member. They said it was connected to easylife. When I said I wasn’t interested, the caller got a bit pushy, insisting I didn’t understand the offer. I decided to listen anyway. They started by saying I’d receive a £50 voucher in a couple of weeks. I told them I wouldn’t, I didn’t want it, and I never want anything from easylife again. They kept speaking over me, so I just hung up.

These firms are honestly the worst. I never pick up calls from unknown numbers and always check ‘Who Called Me’ first to see if anyone else has flagged it as spam. Once confirmed, I just block the number. I’ve gotten pretty good at spotting these scam calls before even answering. Now I just let them ring out. If it’s something important, they’ll leave a voicemail and I can decide if it’s legit to ring back. Honestly, I wish there was a way to launch the bosses of these places into space - even then, it still wouldn’t be distant enough. 🚀💥

Bloody Easylife, again! I've asked them loads of times to take my number off their list and also the third party leeches they use. Now whenever they call, I just fire off some cheeky texts and then block their number. Absolute waste of time and breath, all of them 😡
