13 yearsRight, so I did a bit of research on this. Turns out Verve is using a service from Oxygen8 to send these messages. Oxygen8 is regulated by Phonepayplus, so here’s what you can do: Ask your mobile provider to block any phonepay numbers - they are able to, don’t let them fob you off! File a complaint with Phonepayplus on 0800 500 212, mentioning that Oxygen8 sent the second email aimed at adults even though they hadn’t confirmed age and despite you texting STOP, plus that the first message was sent without consent. Ring Oxygen8 at 0121 621 2000, chat to their customer service, make sure they have taken you off their list and that you’ve not been charged. Also tell them what you think about getting spam texts.
