I missed a call from this number so I checked it out using your service. I've since reported it to 7726 - that's Vodafone’s number for reporting spam calls. I’m signed up with the TPS on both my mobile and landline, so calls like this aren’t allowed. If I happen to pick up one of these calls in future, I’ll make sure to mention explicitly that they’re being reported. Wonder if that’ll get any reaction...

Got a call from some PPI claim company pushing that I had PPI. I told them I didn’t, and they started asking how I was so sure. I said I did have PPI briefly when I got my first credit card at 18 (which was yonks ago), but I cancelled it and already claimed any compensation years back. Still, he kept insisting I must’ve had more. Having worked a few years as an Insolvency Advisor and now in finance analysis, I’m pretty clued up on what I can and can’t claim. No idea why these lot just won’t accept 'no' for an answer!

They keep phoning asking for a Mr Brewster, this has been happening since I got this number. Then it went quiet for a bit, but the last three days it's been non stop. Every time I tell them I’m not Mr Brewster, they say sorry and promise to take my number off their list. Beware, this is a dodgy scheme aimed at snatching your credit card information! They begin by chatting about PPI and then request a trial transaction from your card, claiming it’s the same process as when you sign up for a mobile phone contract. Keep in mind, they initiated the call, and by providing your details, you’re leaving the door wide open for them to withdraw any sum they fancy! Stay vigilant!

I just received a rather bothersome call from this number. The chap on the line wouldn’t accept my refusal, adamantly claiming that I must have had PPI at some point.
