Beware of this call, it’s a total scam where the caller fakes being from O2. They first phoned me repeatedly on a different line (0808 196 4349) the same day and got pretty rude when I started questioning them. As soon as I said I needed to hang up and did so, they kept ringing back on that original number, then switched to calling from this one, sounding quite cross about me ending the call. Better just ignore it!

I received a call from a chap purporting to represent O2, telling me my phone number was selected for some sort of contract discount. He went on to say they could slash my current plan by 40% as a gesture of gratitude for my loyalty. Honestly, it reeks of deceit! It’s nothing but a dodgy con! The truth is, I’ve never even had an account with O2.

This bloke said he was from O2 and told me my number had won some sort of 40% discount deal. When I called him out for being a scammer, he started having a proper go at me. Best to just ignore these calls.
