Just then, the line went dead. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you say?

They had the audacity to ask for our card information! We turned them down flat!

Just received a couple of missed calls from this number, only two rings each time. I'm utterly baffled as to who these folks might be! It's quite astonishing, really. We've held onto our previous mobile number for over a decade and never encountered anything remotely like this. Yet, in just ten weeks with a new number, the calls have already begun!
