Got a call from a woman with an American accent, sounded a bit robotic, saying that someone had spent £1100 with my so-called VisaMastercard (which doesn't even exist) at some gambling place out in California, plus another £300 on Amazon. She didn’t bother to mention my name or any real card details, which was a dead giveaway. Totally felt like a scam to me. Wonder why BT isn’t cracking down on these kinds of fraudsters?

Got calls from the same number three times within just a few hours yesterday. Definitely a scam.

I had blocked a call from 02920866748 before as they didn’t leave any voicemail. Today, the same number appeared again but with the 0044 prefix, missing the first zero. The person said they were from Marks & Spencer and somehow knew my address exactly, then started talking about a washing machine I supposedly bought from M&S. It was clearly a scam because as soon as I questioned them, they just hung up.

I have no clue who it was. As soon as I picked up, the other person hung up right away. Rude, if you ask me! Could be some kind of scam in the making. On the bright side, they covered the call charges.

Received three calls in quick succession within thirty minutes. When I picked up the phone, there was silence on the line twice, and on the third occasion, they greeted me with a 'hello'. However, in the background, I could discern some chatter, suggesting it might be a call centre operation. This number appears to be based in the Cardiff region.
