I received a call yesterday, the 28th of October, 2016. After four rings, I picked up, and to my surprise, a woman's voice promptly uttered 'Goodbye' before the line went dead. It’s quite peculiar, really - I've never encountered this before and sincerely hope it will be the last time. It's quite maddening; what on earth drives these individuals to waste their time like this? One can't help but wish they would find something more worthwhile to occupy themselves with!

Rang my elderly mother, who’s a bit bewildered, three times within a quarter of an hour. She mentioned the caller had a strong Indian accent, so she ended the call abruptly.

I’ve no idea who it was, as they refused to disclose their identity. It called my mobile, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number-found it quite amusing, to be honest!

Received a call at around half past six this evening, and the chap on the other end asked for me directly, but he had quite a pronounced Asian accent. My husband informed him that I was out. This number has been ringing our phone repeatedly, about four times now, and each time the caller simply says 'goodbye' before cutting the line. It tends to happen consistently around six o'clock in the evening. The person has an Asian accent, by the sound of it.

I got a call from a dodgy bloke with a strong Indian accent who was probing about my financial situation-credit cards, loans, you name it. He even tried to pitch life insurance! I smelled a rat right from the off, within ten seconds, to be precise. So, as per my usual tactic, I decided to keep him on the line and bombarded him with nonsensical yet infuriating questions until he couldn’t take it anymore and hung up. Classic!

I received an unsettling phone call from a gentleman who spoke with an Asian accent. He addressed me by my name, which was rather odd since I informed him that no one by that name resides here. He then accused me of lying and insisted that I had a substantial debt from a loan. I firmly instructed him to cease his calls, yet he continued to claim he had all my details. As I can’t block numbers on my phone, I’ll be contacting Virgin to have this number barred.

I had an unpleasant experience with a chap who rang me up. He didn’t bother to state his name and when I wouldn’t provide the details he was after, he abruptly ended the call. Quite rude, if you ask me!

I received a phone call from a gentleman of Asian descent claiming to represent a debt management company. My wife intervened, stating we were registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that he shouldn't be contacting us, before promptly ending the call. Almost immediately, the phone rang once more, and I decided to answer. The same gentleman mumbled something incomprehensible, so I politely inquired what he meant. He then repeated, "you can shove your preference service where the sun doesn’t shine and clear off." I simply said thank you and ended the call again.
