Some bloke called Mackensie from Credit Safe, sounded Welsh. He wanted me to give him access to my computer to ‘show’ me how other firms are looking up credit reports on my business. Yeah right, as if I’m that daft! Not a chance, cheers goodbye!

Got a call from Gethan at Credit Safe. Didn’t really explain much about his services as he seemed a bit rushed. Was polite tho and mentioned he found my info on Linkedin.

Got a call from someone named John Davies, sounded Welsh. He said some companies were exchanging info about my business payment records. Told me if I let him on my PC, he’d show the report! Claimed no other firm could see it. He was polite, said bye, then just ended the call. Definitely a scam!

Got called 3 times in just 3 minutes, eventually answered and it was someone trying to "update" me about my company’s credit check. Didn’t really want that, I trust my accountants to handle stuff like that.

Got a call from someone named David Jones claiming to be from Credit Safe. He asked for my manager by name and said it was about the company's credit reports and supplier relationships. He wanted my boss to ring him back and gave a direct number. Sounded quite official but was quite pushy, kinda reminds me of those annoying door-to-door salespeople. The phone line was awful, loads of crackling and even music playing over his voice like he was in a noisy pub or something! Doesn't seem dodgy, just a bit annoying.

Got a missed call from this number. After going through earlier comments, I decided to block it.

Some bloke rang up asking for my hubby but used a name he never goes by, so I reckon he got it off some official paper. He claimed to be from Credit Thief or something. Told him we weren’t interested, then he got a bit shouty, asking what exactly I wasn’t interested in. Said there were loads of people keen on my husband’s business. I said again we weren’t interested, and when he got even more aggressive, I just ended the call.

There was this person with a really strong Welsh accent, and I couldn’t make out a word they said. I guess they must have found our info from Companies House since they were using our full names, not the ones we normally go by. They never actually got round to saying what they wanted, and since I couldn’t follow what he was saying, I just hung up. Definitely some sort of telesales rubbish. Annoying more than anything, but didn’t seem like any harm done.

Didn’t leave a message. I rang them back and it was some place called 'UK CREDIT SAFE'. I’m registered with TPS and have no dealings with them. Definitely just an annoying spam call.

I didnt pick up, and there was no voice message left. Then a short while after, I got a call from a private number but again, no message was left.

Creditsafe UK. They said they’d had a chat with my wife, which is absolute nonsense. When I confronted him about it, he just dismissed me, saying he’d ring back to chat with her directly. I told him not to waste his time, but he was quite insistent, rather impolite really. Just another cold caller relying on online information to kick off a rather unwelcome sales pitch.

Beware of Creditsafe UK; they have a knack for continually bothering you, regardless of your attempts to evade them! They offer data that is readily available for free or at a minimal cost from Companies House. I foolishly signed up with them over a decade ago, and despite cancelling my subscription ages ago, they still ring me up! Their cancellation process is convoluted, and I have a hunch they might not be playing by the rules either. If you happen to receive a call from their sales team, do yourself a favour and steer clear. You'll undoubtedly wish you had!
