This caller, who called herself Ira, threatened to keep phoning me daily unless I answered her questions. When I asked whether she represented a business I knew, she just kept repeating the same thing without giving a straight answer. In the end, I just ended the call and have since blocked the number.

Got a call from a Cardiff number, the woman said she was from British Gas but it was defo from a call centre. She had a strong Indian accent. When i tried ringing them back to check, all i got was a message saying i’d dialled a wrong number. Did a bit of digging online and it seems like it’s a landline. Not really sure about it though - seems a bit suspicious to me.

Got a call from a Cardiff number, and a woman said she was phoning from British Gas. Seemed like a call centre, and she had an Indian accent. When I tried ringing back to check, it just said I’d dialled the wrong number. I looked it up online and it appears to be a landline, but I’m not convinced this number is legit. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
