Today, I received a rather peculiar call from a woman claiming to represent Amazon. She insisted that my Prime membership was on the verge of lapsing and proceeded to dangle a deal that sounded far too enticing to be genuine! Right from the outset, I sensed something fishy, especially since I've never subscribed to Prime in the first place.
