This call seemed a bit dodgy to me. The line was really scratchy and I could hear feedback as I tried to talk. My hearing isn’t the best, but I got the impression the person was trying to offer some kind of scam protection. They asked if I was responsible for the bills, and I just decided to hang up.

SCAM ALERT: Got a call saying my number was involved in some scam calls, and they wanted me to install software to block these calls. Strange, since I thought my number was actually the one making the calls! When I asked if their fix would stop THIS call, the lady just ended the call right away. Very fishy.
