Unwanted unsolicited call regarding roof insulation. Do I purchase services from pushy cold callers? Absolutely not! He knew my name and address; when I probed about how he acquired this information, he claimed it was from some database, though he couldn’t specify which one. I informed him that, at the very least, his company ought to be checking against the Telephone Preference Service. I also requested that he erase our details from his database in order to comply with current GDPR regulations. I kept him on the line for a solid ten minutes just to prevent him from pestering anyone else during that period.
