Curiosity finally got the better of us, and we answered. The gentleman on the other end inquired about a certain Ruth. When we pressed him for more details, he declared he was her brother and that this was definitely his number-though it seemed a little odd he didn’t call her more often! He then followed up with, “How long have you had this number?” Now we're left wondering if these individuals are associated with some sort of phone company, trying to gauge when people’s contracts might be up for renewal.
