There’s this number that keeps ringing my mum about six times daily, but whenever she picks up, no one responds. She’s an elderly lady, but honestly, her choice words would put the best swearers to shame!

Just had a call that my BT call blocker intercepted, so it didn’t get through to me. I’ve now made sure to permanently blacklist that number.

This bloke rang me supposedly from Microsoft. When I mentioned that I don’t even own a computer, he started hurling insults my way, telling me I should sort my life out. Honestly, it’s wild - I reckon this is something the police should definitely be made aware of!

I answered the call but nobody spoke, then the call just suddenly ended without a word.

This annoying number rings me like 3 times each day, no matter the time. They keep saying something about a free government boiler scheme. When you answer, they tell you to press 9 to stop calls or 5 to speak to someone, but they never say who they actually are. On some occasions, they leave a voicemail. Also noticed they change the caller ID all the time, sometimes showing as out of town or even international numbers, but it's obviously the same scam.

Exercise caution. This is undoubtedly a fraudulent operation.

I received a call from someone pretending to be from the FCA, using a Welsh number. They had a distinctly African accent and accused me of being a scammer, even laughing in the process. The whole exchange took a nasty turn when they started hurling insults and threatened to send someone round to my place for some truly vile deeds. Quite charming, isn't it?

Some bloke with an Asian accent rang and told me his name was Kevin. I told him straight up to stop messing about cos Asians don’t usually name their kids Kevin. He just went quiet and shut off the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming he worked for the debt investigation unit, supposedly part of the government. When I asked which government he meant, he cheekily said "the British government". He went on to say they’d looked into my debts and could stop all interest and wipe them clean. I was about to get excited until I hung up. Honestly, some folks might fall for this rubbish and end up getting scammed.

I've got this brilliant BT Call Guardian Phone and honestly, it's great! Whenever some unknown number rings me, it picks up first and asks who’s calling before letting it through. If they don’t say who they are, the call just gets blocked. Really handy! This caller didn’t say a word, so obviously, no call for me. Would definitely recommend it!

I received a rather unexpected phone call claiming to be from Microsoft, stating there was a problem with my computer due to some hacking. I'm feeling quite dubious about its legitimacy, especially since the caller had a strong Asian accent that suggested it might be a call centre. They wanted me to grant them access to my computer, which raised all sorts of red flags for me. If anyone has any insights on whether this could be a proper call or just a scam, I'd greatly appreciate your advice!
