Got a call from a woman’s robotic voice claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying my account was about to renew for £39.99 and to press 1 if I wanted to chat with someone about it. Something didn’t sit right, so I ended the call and checked online for Amazon Prime scams. Turns out, this is exactly like the scam everyone’s talking about!

I've had so many calls from these lot, always using different phone numbers, but I’ve always guessed it’s dodgy. They keep ringing about my Amazon account, but I’ve never even had one. Don’t bother pressing the buttons they tell you to. A few times I told them to stop trying or just shut up about my computer, and I swear they’ve hung up on me after shouting a bit. Proper annoying.

Got a call from this number today claiming to be from Amazon Prime. The automated voice said there was some dodgy activity on my account and asked for my card info to check my identity. Don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a scam! Never give out personal details like that.
