This happened to me, and I was daft enough to fall for it. They told me I needed to pay a fee to have the fuel voucher posted out, so I paid up. Later, I noticed they had taken about £80 out of my bank. When I phoned them to sort it out, they claimed I had to contact them within 16 days, something I wasn’t told beforehand. That £80 was actually for my car insurance! They left me skint. What a total con - absolute cheeky lot!

I would really advise not dealing with this firm. After I paid them £2.78 and £78.22, getting a refund through their voucher system was a nightmare. It took them ages to respond, and when I finally got my vouchers back, there was no apology or reason given for the long delay. I had to keep chasing them for about six months and even mentioned reporting them to Trading Standards before they bothered to sort it. - caller: Lifestyle Choices Free Moments

Had a ring from 02921210121 claiming to be from Lifestyle Choices magazine offering £10 worth of fuel vouchers, but asked for £2.78 postage. They also said I could get £200 vouchers for loads of different stuff for about £78 a year. I wasn’t comfortable giving my card details over the phone, so the woman gave me a website. I wasn’t keen on just checking out their ads, but I had a quick look anyway. Even though it was a different number then 02920364211, I saw Lifestyle Choices has been reported as a scam. It sounded way too good to be true. If the woman named Leah calls again, I’m ignoring it.

This whole thing is just frustrating, and I feel daft for getting caught up in it. I ended my subscription right on time, but on 9th September they still charged me £78. Since then, I've phoned them like 14 times, each time they say I’ll get a refund in 48 hours, but haven’t seen a penny yet. At this point, I reckon my last resort is to threaten legal action or report them to the financial ombudsman. - caller: Morgan

I sent off my refund request for £50 back in July 2015, with all the necessary receipts as asked, and I’m still waiting. I ring the company a few times a week and keep getting through to the same bloke, Morgan. I’ve also tried emailing [email protected], but never get a reply. Morgan told me their policy is to ignore emails, and when I asked what the email address is even for, he just said it’s not his problem. In October 2015, I posted a formal complaint like they told me to, but nothing has changed. Every call I make, they promise they’ll sort the refund by bank transfer soon, but after all this time, no luck. Feels like a total con or a business that should be shut down for sheer incompetence. - caller: Lifestyle Choices/Free Moments

I got the exact same spiel from a woman mentioning Lifestyle Choices. The moment she said that, I quickly googled it and luckily came across this site. Had a call from this number while my elderly mum was on her own. She didn’t answer but checked who it was first. No voicemail left, just some creepy giggling that went on for about ten seconds, then they muttered something that kind of sounded like "white man". Really disturbing behaviour.

I’ve had non-stop calls from them - just today, this woman was trying to get me to pay £2.78 for a £20 petrol voucher. I told her to ring later at 5pm since I didn’t have my card info on me. Now I’m off to grab a whistle so I can drown her out when she calls again!

They've rung me 4 times today. I don't pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise unless I've looked them up online first. Looks like they really wanna keep calling but I'm not having it, so fingers crossed they stop eventually!

Got a call from 02920364211 today claiming I’d won some vouchers. Then they asked if I had a bank card and I said no, then this bloke called Steven said they’d ring me again later. Next time they ring, I'm just gonna block and ignore them.

I kept ignoring calls yesterday until I finally picked up after five rings. The bloke on the other end, who sounded Indian, asked me all sorts of generic questions about my lifestyle - I just made up answers to keep him going. When he asked if I owned a car, I said no to throw him off. Then today, someone from Lifestyle Choices called from 020 2036 4211, telling me they’d send me a couple of £10 fuel vouchers along with a brochure listing more discounts they offer. Joining their scheme would supposedly cost £78.22 a year, but even if I don’t sign up, the fuel vouchers are mine to keep. They just wanted me to pay £2.78 to cover postage for the vouchers and brochure. I told him I’d check their website (he gave me the address) and he'd ring back tomorrow. Gives me time to think about how to have a bit of fun with them. Sounds like a classic scam, so watch out if Lifestyle Choices ring you from 02920364211 - the call came from "Lifestyle Choices".

I got a call yesterday, 04/08/15, from some random number about a survey. Then today they ring again saying they wanna send me petrol vouchers and some other junk as a thank you, but they asked me to cover the postage. Seemed like they were fishing for my bank or card info for sure. Lucky I said no and hung up quick. Seriously, what sort of people (it was a woman by the way) end up doing stuff like this? Proper shocking.

Got a dodgy call claiming I could save money and get fuel vouchers. My son picked up and gave our address when they asked for £2.78 for postage. He ended the call as soon as my lad said no to sharing bank info. Absolutely sounds like a scam to me.

So this number rang me earlier claiming I had won some prize. Then a lady on the line said they needed my credit card info to "release" the prize, asked for my card number, the expiry date and the three digit code. At that point, my alarm bells went off straight away - I knew it was a complete scam. I just ended the call. Not long after, the same number called again, but this time it was a guy trying exactly the same trick, asking for my card details. Needless to say, they’re never getting anything from me. Just a heads up for everyone else, don’t fall for this scam from that so-called prize company!

This number called me saying I won some vouchers, I did one for Tesco so I thought it was legit. Then they said I had to pay £2.95, which I paid. Now they've taken £78.22 out of my bank account.

Sadly, this number is just another one handed out to call centres for all sorts of marketing calls and such. They give it to their agents who then use it to push whatever the hot offer is at that moment. Blocking the number helps a bit, but they’ll just ring from a different line! Honestly, the best thing is to have a separate "work" phone number you don’t mind sharing, so when unwanted calls come through you can just ignore 'em or let them ramble while you carry on with stuff. That way you can keep your personal number private and only answer the important ones. Hope that makes sense!

I'm really glad I found this place. Lately, I've been getting calls from this same number, and luckily my phone was on silent so I didn't get disturbed too much. I tried ringing them back today, but the message I got said the number wasn’t valid. How can I make them stop ringing me? I'm feeling poorly and need to rest throughout the day. Because of this, I've had to keep my phone on silent all the time, but now I'm missing important calls. Can anyone advise me on what to do? Thanks, Gail.

I honestly think these cold callers really need to be put to a stop! They target people who are easy to trick, offering vouchers but then sneak in a £2.78 delivery fee. What they don’t mention upfront is that you’re actually signing up for a monthly magazine subscription charging £75 every month, taken directly from your bank. My wife, who’s still on the mend after a stroke, fell for this scam. Thankfully, after a few phone calls, I managed to sort it all out. Just a heads up - watch out for this!

They’ve been blowing up my phone all day, so I figured I’d look them up. Next time they call, I’m gonna pick up and call them out for being total scumbags. Then I’ll cheekily ask for their bank info and start taking £75 a month from their account!

A woman named Gemma rang me claiming to be from Lifestyle Choice Magazine in Cardiff. She was trying to sell me a yearly subscription for £72, including a diesel voucher worth £20 and a magazine packed with discounts, all for just £2.78. Honestly, if I hadn’t checked this website and read what others said about that number, I probably would’ve got caught up in their trick. Big thanks to everyone who shared their experiences!

This number is a total fraud! The callers claim to be from Wales and ask for your card info, promising things like fuel vouchers or tokens. But in the end, you get absolutely nothing and they just steal about £75 from your bank every month. I tried ringing them back to give them a piece of my mind, but the line just kept saying “wrong number” or something similar. Seriously, I urge everyone to avoid picking up calls from this number. If you do answer, make sure to tell them what nasty crooks they are and that you’re reporting them. Cheers, Luke Mitchell.

Just a heads up, this is one of those magazine subs where they tell you that if you cancel within 28 days, you won’t be charged. They also say the fuel vouchers are yours to keep no matter what. But honestly, you end up out of pocket by £75 with nothing to show for it. I had to help an elderly relative deal with this back in December. They kept refusing any refunds and made it a right nightmare. After a long while of arguing, the only way I got the money back was by going to their office in person, which was lucky as it wasn’t too far from here. Honestly, the people behind this are total con artists.

This number has rung me about five times in the past few days. I finally answered today and they claimed I’d won some vouchers for filling out a survey. I told them I never did any survey, but they kept saying it was from a guy named Daniel last Friday. I told them "I don’t do phone surveys" and they just kept insisting, saying "it says here you did and we have vouchers waiting to be sent." Then they asked if I drive or not. In the end, I just hung up.

Today I got a call from this number, someone asking to talk to my 10-year-old boy. When I said no way and asked who they were, the person started telling me off about how I shouldn't let my kid share personal info online. So earlier today, I got a ring from the number 029 2036 4211. The person on the line claimed I’d won £20 worth of fuel vouchers plus another £200 for some reason I couldn’t quite catch. To get these prizes, they said I had to pay a small fee of about £2.78 either via card or by post. This call came after I signed up for some online surveys and left my number with them. I ended up giving the guy a card with all the details, but it’s one I’ve never actually used and has zero balance on it. His voice was a bit confusing, something like a dodgy line or maybe he was trying to speak quickly, so I wasn’t sure what he was on about. He assured me the vouchers would be sent through the post and I could spend them at any petrol station. If by some miracle he manages to use that card to get any cash, I’d be quite happy to have a share myself! :)) Anyway, if you get a call like this one, don’t hand over any card details or personal info. It’s best to be cautious! - caller ID: 029 2036 4211

I received an email saying I could win £500 in Tesco vouchers. Since I already have a Tesco Clubcard, I thought it was legit. After entering my mobile number, I got a text asking me to reply 'yes' to confirm the application, which I did. Then, outta nowhere, I got another message saying I'd be charged £15 a month through my phone bill for these 'free' vouchers! I immediately replied 'stop' and flagged the message as a scam. After that, I kept getting more texts trying to get me to join different 'clubs' with free vouchers. Today, the number 029 2036 4211 rang me, but I didn't pick up and will just block it.
