I fell victim to a similar con and honestly, I can't believe how gullible I was. They told me that in order to receive the fuel voucher, I needed to pay a posting fee. Next thing I know, they've swiped £80 from my account! When I called to sort it out, they claimed that because I hadn’t contacted them within 16 days-which I had no clue was a stipulation-they were justified in taking that cash. What a cheeky lot, leaving me without funds that I’d earmarked for my car insurance! Absolute nonsense, what a swindle!

Avoid this company like the plague! After parting with £2.78 and a hefty £78.22, all I got in return was a right old runaround with their voucher system. It took an eternity-nearly half a year-for them to process my claims, and not once did they muster an apology or bother to explain their lack of response. I had to hound them for six long months, even hinting at taking my grievances to Trading Standards before I finally got my vouchers back. Truly a shambolic experience-caller: Lifestyle Choices Free Moments.

I received a rather unexpected call from 02921210121, claiming to be from a publication called Lifestyle Choices Magazine. They offered me £10 worth of fuel vouchers, but then mentioned a £2.78 charge for postage. To add to it, they dangled the prospect of £200 in vouchers for various items for around £78 a year. I wasn't keen on providing my card details over the phone, so the caller provided a website link. However, I was hesitant to visit it, as I suspected it might just be a front for their advertising. During my search, I stumbled upon another number, 02920364211, associated with Lifestyle Choices and flagged as a scam. It all seemed too good to be true. If Leah manages to ring me again, I certainly won’t be picking up! - Caller: Leah, Lifestyle Choices.

What a right mess this all is! It’s a proper shame to see how it has panned out, and I can't help but berate myself for being duped. I cancelled way before the deadline but lo and behold, they still deducted £78 from my account on the 9th of September. Since then, I've dialled them up 14 times, each time being assured that I would receive my refund within 48 hours-yet here I am, still waiting. Honestly, I’m starting to think the only path left for me is to threaten legal proceedings or lodge a complaint with the financial ombudsman. - caller: Morgan

I'm still patiently waiting for my £50 refund that I submitted along with the necessary receipts back in mid-July 2015. I've been trying to reach the company multiple times a week, speaking with the same chap, Morgan, each time. I've also shot over an email to [email protected], but I've had no reply whatsoever. Morgan informed me that it's apparently their policy not to respond to emails. When I inquired about the purpose of the email address, he curtly stated it wasn't his place to say. In early October 2015, I even sent a formal complaint letter through the post, as instructed by the company. Every time I ring, I'm told that my refund is supposedly in the pipeline and will be transferred to my bank soon, yet it’s still not materialised. This whole situation feels incredibly dubious-either it's a scam or an organisation that needs to be shut down immediately for sheer ineptitude. - caller: Lifestyle Choices/Free Moments

I've had a similar experience, and it was quite alarming! The moment I heard the phrase "Lifestyle Choices" from the woman on the phone, I quickly did a search and stumbled upon this site. I made sure not to provide any bank details, and I reckon nobody should be tempted to do so after hearing flashy offers. I’m definitely planning to report this to the police! - Caller: Lifestyle Choices

Had a call from this number while my elderly mum was on her own. She didn’t answer but checked who it was first. No voicemail left, just some creepy giggling that went on for about ten seconds, then they muttered something that kind of sounded like "white man". Really disturbing behaviour.

Got a call from this number about a magazine offer with a £20 petrol voucher, they said I took part in a survey and then started asking me for cash for something I never even did. Proper scam, these people have no idea what they’re up to with their lives.

I’ve had non-stop calls from them - just today, this woman was trying to get me to pay £2.78 for a £20 petrol voucher. I told her to ring later at 5pm since I didn’t have my card info on me. Now I’m off to grab a whistle so I can drown her out when she calls again!

After dodging five calls yesterday, I finally succumbed and picked up the phone, throwing out some fabricated responses to the typical questions posed by an Indian chap on the line. One such query revolved around whether or not I owned a vehicle, to which I promptly said no. Fast forward to today, I received a call from 020 2036 4211. It was a gentleman representing Lifestyle Choices who informed me they would be dispatching two £10 fuel vouchers along with a brochure detailing their other discount schemes. If I fancied signing up, it would cost me a mere £78.22 for the year, but they assured me I could retain the vouchers regardless of my decision. All they required was a £2.78 payment to cover the postage for the vouchers and the brochure. I mentioned I would take some time to ponder over the offer (he kindly provided me with their website), and he's set to ring me back tomorrow. This gives me a golden opportunity to devise a plan to toy with them a bit. It certainly seems like part of a larger scam, so just a heads up to everyone - stay vigilant if Lifestyle Choices happens to call you from 02920364211.

I got a call yesterday, 04/08/15, from some random number about a survey. Then today they ring again saying they wanna send me petrol vouchers and some other junk as a thank you, but they asked me to cover the postage. Seemed like they were fishing for my bank or card info for sure. Lucky I said no and hung up quick. Seriously, what sort of people (it was a woman by the way) end up doing stuff like this? Proper shocking.

Got a dodgy call claiming I could save money and get fuel vouchers. My son picked up and gave our address when they asked for £2.78 for postage. He ended the call as soon as my lad said no to sharing bank info. Absolutely sounds like a scam to me.

I received a rather dubious call earlier today from this number, claiming I had won some sort of prize. A rather persistent woman was on the line, insisting that to claim my so-called reward, I'd need to provide my credit card information to verify my identity. The moment she began asking for my card number, the security code, and the expiry date, red flags went up all over the place. It dawned on me that this was nothing more than a scam, and I promptly ended the call. To my surprise, they rang back, and this time it was a chap using the same spiel. It’s glaringly obvious that all they’re after is my card details, which they will never be getting. So take heed, folks - steer clear of this scamming number and don’t fall for their tricks! - Caller: Some prize giveaway firm.

Sadly, this number is just another one handed out to call centres for all sorts of marketing calls and such. They give it to their agents who then use it to push whatever the hot offer is at that moment. Blocking the number helps a bit, but they’ll just ring from a different line! Honestly, the best thing is to have a separate "work" phone number you don’t mind sharing, so when unwanted calls come through you can just ignore 'em or let them ramble while you carry on with stuff. That way you can keep your personal number private and only answer the important ones. Hope that makes sense!

I'm so grateful for this platform. Recently, I've been inundated with calls from a particular number. Thankfully, my phone was set to silent, which spared me a bit of hassle. However, today I decided to ring the number back, only to find out that I had dialled an incorrect number. Does anyone have any advice on how to put an end to these persistent calls? I'm not feeling my best and truly need to catch some rest during the day. Right now, my phone’s still on silent, meaning I’m also missing important calls. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Gail.

I took part in their survey and made it clear that I wasn’t interested in any magazines. I also replied to a few other questions they had. Enough is enough with these unsolicited callers! This firm targets those who are unsuspecting and desperate, luring them in with the enticing offer of vouchers, only to spring a £2.78 delivery fee on them. What they conveniently leave out is that you're signing up for a monthly magazine subscription that will pinch £75 from your bank account without any warning. My wife, who is currently on the mend after suffering a stroke, fell victim to this trickery. After a few frustrating phone calls, I managed to sort the mess out. Just a word of caution to everyone out there - stay vigilant!

The next time they ring, I plan to pick up and let them know exactly what I think of their dodgy antics. I received a rather curious call from someone identifying herself as Gemma, apparently representing Lifestyle Choice magazine based in Cardiff. Beware of this number-it’s an absolute con! The individuals behind this call seem to be operating out of Wales and are fishing for your credit card information. They lure you in with the promise of fuel tokens or vouchers, but all you’ll actually end up with is a monthly deduction of £75 from your bank account-vanished into thin air! I attempted to ring them back to express just how despicable they are, but to no avail; the response was a message saying it’s an incorrect number! I implore anyone who encounters this number to steer clear, and should you answer, do let them know they’re vile characters and that you intend to report them. Cheers, Luke Mitchell.

Just a heads-up for everyone, this seems to be linked to a magazine subscription that they’ll nudger you into considering. You’ll be assured that if you cancel within 28 days, no funds will be snatched from your account. You can keep the fuel vouchers, though. However, don’t be fooled; you’ll end up empty-handed and around £75 poorer by month’s end. I had to help an elderly family member sort this mess out last December. Forget about refunds-they’ll continually assure you there’s no chance of that. After numerous discussions, I finally managed to get the money back, but it required a personal visit, which was fortunately just a short trip away. The folks behind this operation are truly unscrupulous.

This number has rung me about five times in the past few days. I finally answered today and they claimed I’d won some vouchers for filling out a survey. I told them I never did any survey, but they kept saying it was from a guy named Daniel last Friday. Earlier today, I received a rather dubious call from the number 029 2036 4211. The chap on the other end claimed that I’d won a £20 voucher for fuel and an additional £200 for some unspecified reason. All I had to do, apparently, was cough up £2.78 via card or post to claim my prizes. This whole shenanigan stemmed from some surveys I completed online where I perhaps foolishly provided my number. In the heat of the moment, I ended up giving him the details of a card I've hardly ever used, which conveniently has no funds on it. Honestly, I couldn’t quite grasp what he was rambling on about, as his voice was all over the place and pretty hard to follow. He assured me that the vouchers would arrive through the post and could be redeemed at any petrol station. He even suggested that if he managed to glean anything from my card, he’d happily share it with me. Quite the generous offer, don’t you think? If you happen to receive a similar call, do yourself a favour and don’t divulge any information about your card. - caller: 029 2036 4211

Since I have a Tesco clubcard, I figured it was legitimate and entered my phone number, believing it to be a simple formality. Almost instantly, I received a text message asking me to confirm my identity by replying 'yes', which I did without a second thought. Then came a shocker: another text informed me that I’d be charged £15 a month through my phone bill for these supposedly 'free' vouchers!
