I got a call from the 029 2022 9964 number, which is linked to the Cardiff area code. It looks like a landline, but watch out - there’s loads of reports saying it’s a scam. Lots of people, nearly 800 to be exact, have checked it already and flagged it as dodgy. Definitely be careful if you get a call from this one!

This morning I had a call from this number, but thanks to the BT Call Blocker, it never actually got through since the number isn’t saved in my contacts. They didn’t bother to identify themselves, so I didn’t get the chance to decide whether to answer or not. Plus, they left no voicemail. Seeing all the other reviews, I’ve just gone ahead and blocked the number myself now.

Got another dodgy call today, some person saying they’d send me something and wanted £45 or something. Their accent was impossible to follow. I pretty much rudely told them to jog on. When will BT actually do something to block these muppets from using their lines? Maybe we should all team up and take BT to court over this. I’m guessing it’s a scam, maybe something to do with banks or cards.

Got a call today around 2.09pm from a lady with an Asian accent saying she was from 'Platinum Supermarkets'. She said I'd won a £25 hamper and needed my address to send it over. I just told her I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away. Didn’t want to risk anything, felt a bit dodgy to me, like some sort of scam. Best to stay cautious with calls like that.

When I expressed my annoyance about the timing and made it clear that I wasn't keen on their services, they got rather confrontational. I insisted that they remove my number from their records.

Naturally, I responded by informing them that I didn’t actually have internet access and requested that they cease their incessant phone calls. Remarkably, within just ten minutes, I was bombarded with four further calls, and let me tell you, the language they used was quite appalling after I had asked them to back off.
