1 yearSomeone rang my job saying they were from the Metering Team working for NPower, asking for our electricity meter readings. They tried to make it sound like NPower was our provider, but they haven’t been at all. I asked the person to email the request instead and gave them the email. They wouldn’t agree and kept pushing for the readings on the phone, which felt quite harassing. I get loads of calls like this every week from different numbers, which are usually scams.
