Today, I got a call from a number that popped up as Samsung Electronics Australia, even had their logo on the screen, so naturally, I picked up. They started talking about investment opportunities but it quickly felt fishy. I looked it up on this site and yep, it’s a total scam. I’ve been trying to get in touch with Samsung to tell them about it, but no luck so far. You’d think they’d care a bit about someone spoofing their brand like this.

Got a call from someone in the Philippines who was insisting on speaking with our state manager, using his full name which struck me as odd straight away. There was a noisy background, like a busy call centre. The caller mentioned something about the "Brownfields Project," which I’d never heard of before. He claimed my manager was “connected” to it, which I knew wasn’t true. When I pressed for more details, he kept dodging the question and just kept repeating “Brownfield.” Then he asked for my manager’s email, but I refused. Since he wouldn’t be straight about his reason for calling, I just ended the call. Later, I looked up the “Brownfield Project” - apparently, it could mean anything from investment to software or engineering, none of which relate to us. Pretty clear to me it was a scam, so I’m blocking that number!

Got calls from this number like 5 times back in afternoon on 23/7/2016, all within an hour. When I looked it up, it popped up as Fraud or Scam. Was around 3ish if I remember right.
