I had an unexpected phone call from someone purporting to be from Ofgem, the UK’s energy regulator. This individual went on about my energy supply with SSE Swalec, claiming it would be beneficial for me to switch to EDF. He insisted he wasn't a salesperson, which felt a bit off, especially as he talked about some supposed reduced supply I could receive. He was rather convincing, I must say! After I ended the call, he had the audacity to ring me back. I decided to hang up once more. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!
