Phone number ☎️ 02897563567 👆 is reported as a nuisance call from someone pretending to be BT Openreach. caller sounded like they were from an indian call centre and kept saying there was a problem with the internet speed. but the number they phoned had no broadband connected at all. the person quickly realised it was a wrong number and ended the call after an apology. sounds like a common scam trying to trick people about their internet connection. many have found it frustrating and pointless.

Today, I got my second call (though from a different number) from a bloke who said he was with BT Openreach. His voice sounded like he was calling from some call centre in India. He told me there'd been alerts from our router saying the internet wasn’t running properly. I told him there’s no broadband hooked up on this line at all, which might explain why he was getting those "alerts," and that he must've dialled the wrong number. He said sorry and I just ended the call. Gotta have a chuckle, don’t you? Best to just avoid these sorts of calls!
