I received a call from an Asian gentleman claiming to be from my bank. Initially, I thought it could be legitimate, but red flags popped up when he started requesting my personal info. It felt completely off when he then asked for my bank account details. Surely, if he were a true bank representative, he'd already possess that information!

a polite-sounding asian gent called me from this number pretending to be from my bank, asking for my account info. seemed like a dodgy attempt to scam.
