They called me up and already had my name and the place I live down. Asked if I fancied any new PVC windows or other sorts of home renovations. I said no thanks, and they sounded quite nice, but it did make me feel a bit off knowing they had my details like my name, phone number, and where I’m from. No clue where they pulled that info from.

I received a rather unsettling call from someone purporting to represent a home repairs and improvements company. He seemed to know my name, which was odd, and inquired whether I had any repair needs for my home. Upon my polite dismissal of his offer, his demeanor took a dramatic turn-he became quite hostile and started making threats. It was an alarming experience!
