I kept getting calls on my mobile from a Belfast number, ringing multiple times a day for like a week straight. I never picked up since the phone would ring and seemed like they left a voicemail, but when I did check, there was nothing. When I finally answered one time, no one talked, but it sounded like a call centre where people were speaking some African language. I’m just ignoring them now since I have no idea how to block that number.

A guy with an Asian accent called me and said his name was Michael. He claimed he was checking if we had the best broadband deal. I tried asking what company he was from about three times, but his answer was just gibberish to me. So, I told him we were happy with our broadband and ended the call before he could say anything else.

Got a call from someone saying they were from "Switch" about my broadband and my landlord. I told them I hadn't a clue about any of it. She said she'd get in touch with my landlord and ring me again. Yeah, right.

They just said, "SORRY, not ####," and weirdly enough, the person on the other end actually said sorry back and then ended the call. Strange, right? Makes me think they’re just guessing info they don’t have about us.
