Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, telling me that my router and computer were downloading harmful files. I've never signed up or paid for any call blocking service, so this felt like a typical scam trying to steal bank or credit card info. Watch out!

I told them to get their phone company to block these scam calls. They replied it’s impossible to be right all the time, then just ended the call on me.

They’ve rung me three times already today, but I just don’t answer because I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. Whenever I let it go to voicemail, they just hang up right away.

This number rings a few times every day, but the area code looks unfamiliar to me. I just let it go to voicemail since I don’t pick up unknown numbers. Oddly enough, there’s never any message left behind.

Got two calls from some Asian bloke today, really pushy and kinda annoying. He kept asking for the last three numbers on my debit card for some phone thing. Proper aggressive about it, felt a bit harassed to be honest.

Got a call around 9 in the morning but nothing on the other end. Then they called back about half eleven, I didn’t pick up and it just went to voicemail, but no message was left.

I get like 4 or 5 calls every day from loads of different numbers, all saying they can sort out my boiler and cut my costs - total scam!

Pretty sure it was another scam. The person said they were calling from the TPS saying my registration had lapsed. They wanted my debit card info used for paying my phone bill to "confirm" and renew it. When I asked more questions, they just hung up. Just a heads up, once you’re on the TPS, it’s permanent - so if anyone says you need to update it, they’re definitely trying to con you.

I got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent claiming he worked for the do not call list. He went on about notifying my phone company to disconnect my service. He even threatened to deliver some sort of documents to my house. Said his name was John Madeley or something like that.

Got a quiet ring from a Glasgow number and it felt a bit dodgy. The call just ended abruptly after about a minute, not a word said. Definitely seemed suspicious to me.

Got a call from 02896927298 to my 01270 number at 11:20am on 4th September 2020. It was completely silent and then they hung up after around 5 seconds. Strange!

I didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar, but as soon as it went to voicemail, they just cut off the call right away.
