Didn't bother to leave a voicemail, pretty obvious scam once I read the other comments.

Got a call from a very polite woman asking if I was interested in buying solar panels. As soon as I said no, she just hung up straight away. Glad to know it was just another scam call.

Got a call about solar panels again, basically the same company just using a different phone number this time. They'd phoned me a few days earlier too. I've been unlisted and on the TPS for ages, yet these calls keep coming through. Honestly, the TPS does nothing to stop this stuff. It's the same story with loads of these companies over here, really frustrating.

I got a call from a really polite woman who spoke quite nicely, asking if I owned the house and telling me I could qualify for some solar panel deal. I just told her nicely that I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Even though my number is ex-directory and I’m on the TPS list, I still got a cold call from a bloke pushing some products. He kept saying he had deals “around my postcode,” but whenever I asked exactly which postcode he meant, he just shouted over me. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.

Even though I’m registered with TPS, these persistent Indian scammers just keep calling nonstop.

I got a call earlier today, but the moment my answering machine started, they just hung up straight away.

She was going on and on without pausing, not sure if she even breathed between sentences. Kept pushing for me to get one of those medical alert necklaces. I couldn’t get a single word in, so eventually I just ended the call. But then she rang straight back and kept up the fast talking. When she finally stopped to breathe, I told her I wasn’t interested and hung up. After that, she never called again.

Somebody rang claiming to be from a medical firm. I called them out right away, saying it was just a scam. They said they felt bad for me, but I kept telling them it was a scam and then ended the call.

I've gotten calls about medical alarms before, but this time it was a sales pitch even though I'm on the TPS register. Seems like they keep ringing despite the block.

Someone called saying they were from the council’s alarm team and seemed to know quite a bit about me. It didn’t click it was a scam until she wanted me to check my bank info over the phone.

This has all the signs of a scam, especially with how many calls have been logged from them already. Plus, it looks like they just use nearly identical phone numbers, only swapping out the last digit.

I picked up the phone and all I could hear was some noise in the background but no one actually talking. I ended up yelling, "Quit wasting my time, you daft b******!" and then they hung up straight away. Definitely seems like a scam to me!

Someone rang earlier but I didn’t pick up, letting it go straight to voicemail. Nothing was left there either. Cheers to everyone who posted comments here, it’s a relief to see I did the right thing by not answering.

I picked up the phone and immediately noticed a lot of chatter in the background, likely from a call centre. I lost my temper and let out a few choice words, which seemed to scare them off as they promptly disconnected. I'm utterly fed up with these pesky scammers!

I received a call this morning from the number 44089622222502896222225 but missed it. I'm beginning to think that this might just be the same number trying to avoid being blocked by changing its appearance. Quite sneaky, if you ask me!

Got a call this morning at about 8.49, from a bloke with some sort of foreign accent, not exactly British. He opened with "Good morning Miss" and then went on yabbering about personal alarms. I just said "What a load of nonsense" and hung up straight away. Bet it’s just another scam, no surprise there.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying it was about my medical devices. I ended the call right away. This isn't the first time I've received this call, and last time when I asked for details about the device, the person just cut me off. Definitely a scam, watch out!
