A right dodgy scam, that is. The caller claimed to be from HMRC, saying they’d instigated a lawsuit against me and even had an arrest warrant out in my name, urging me to hit 1 immediately! Naturally, I didn’t fall for it, but I can imagine plenty of others would be quite shaken by such a threatening message. The voice sounded like just some bloke with no discernible accent whatsoever.

Clearly, this is a dodgy phone call! Best to just disregard it altogether-unless, of course, you actually have a warrant out for your arrest!
